Polo is a team sport played on horseback in which the objective is to score goals against an opposing team. Sometimes called, “The Sport of Kings”, it was highly popularized by the British. Players score by driving a small white plastic or wooden ball into the opposing team’s goal using a long-handled mallet.

In Los Angeles, bicycle polo is rapidly growing game, which, according to the players, “chasing the ball like a race to destruction.” The new game involving two teams of three cyclists who are using golf clubs to polo, made from ski poles and plastic pipes are driven by the field size of a tennis ball. Most bicycle wheels closed bright plastic caps which prevent the ingress of clubs or the ball in the spokes. Course of the game ranges from finesse to complete chaos in which cyclists winds and avoid each other, occasionally colliding. During the game is not difficult to get injured, so players use helmets, knee pads, goggles and gloves for protection.
